💨 Abstract
Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, sanitation workers are demanding regularisation of temporary staff, adequate insurance coverage, and other welfare measures. They claim that the salary is insufficient and there is a lack of safety measures. Despite completing 240 days of attendance, many workers are still in temporary status. A parliamentary panel has recommended regularising MCD sanitation workers who have completed 10 years of service.
