💨 Abstract

In Mumbai, eight individuals, including Walmik Karad, aide of NCP minister Dhananjay Munde, are charged under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the murder case of Santosh Deshmukh, a sarpanch who tried to stop an extortion bid on a windmill project. The accused are accused of abducting, torturing, and murdering Deshmukh.
