The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a contempt petition filed by a retired assistant professor from Madhya Pradesh seeking the release of his pension and other retiral benefits. The petitioner, Dr R B Dubey, alleges that the respondents, including the Principal Secretary of Higher Education Department, have not complied with the court's order to release the amounts within six weeks.
