💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court of India directed the central and Delhi governments to consider establishing a special court for a day-to-day trial in a 2021 case involving ISIS links. The case concerns Md Heydaitullah, accused of using Telegram to spread ISIS ideology and recruit members. The court emphasized that trial delays could lead to bail for the accused. Earlier, the court had criticized delays in setting up special courts for cases under the NIA Act.
