💨 Abstract

The Supreme Court has asked Delhi police to respond to a plea by former councillor and Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain, who seeks interim bail to campaign for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls. Hussain has been in custody for 4.10 years and faces FIRs in 11 cases, with bail granted in nine. The court noted his presence in the riots and expressed concern about his long incarceration.
