💨 Abstract

The Supreme Court of India agreed to hear a plea from the Association of Doctors And Medical Students challenging notices that require foreign medical graduates to undergo extra years of internship due to pandemic or Russia-Ukraine war disruptions. The court issued notice to the Centre and others to respond within six weeks. The plea seeks better guidelines for compensatory internship or practical training, allowing graduates to compensate for missed classes through certificates or additional training in India.
