💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court has agreed to examine a plea by a retired Army officer, Capt. Rakesh Walia, seeking the quashing of a charge sheet against him in an alleged rape case. The officer, who is 63 and in a vulnerable health condition, claims that a malicious prosecution was initiated by the complainant who had registered seven FIRs against nine people, including him, over the last eight years.
