The Supreme Court Bar Association and the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association have jointly filed a petition in the apex court seeking that all advocates contributing to a case have their appearances recorded in court orders. They argue that the role of an advocate extends beyond oral submissions and includes research, securing client instructions, briefing senior advocates, and more.
