đź’¨ Abstract
After an eight-day closure due to heightened tensions along the Indo-Pak border, schools in five districts of the Jammu region reopened. Schools in 30 locations near the Line of Control and International Border remained shut. Students and teachers expressed relief at resuming in-person classes, valued for better connection and accountability. The education department issued reopening guidelines, based on local security assessments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Specific zones within each district were designated for reopening or continuing closure.
