Seattle police officer Kevin Dave, who hit and killed a 23-year-old Indian student in a crosswalk in January 2023, has been fired for dangerous driving. Dave was driving 74 mph in a 25 mph zone and violated four policies, including safe operation of police vehicles. The incident sparked outrage and international media attention. Another officer, Daniel Auderer, was fired for making insensitive comments about the victim.
