💨 Abstract
In the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, over 56% voter turnout was reported. The polling was mostly peaceful, with some minor incidents. A 16-member delegation of foreign envoys visited the valley to observe the elections, drawing criticism from former chief minister Omar Abdullah. The turnout is expected to increase as polling is still underway in certain areas.
