💨 Abstract

In Imphal, Manipur, security forces are deployed with anti-riot equipment in the Lilong area due to violent protests against the Waqf Amendment Act. The area is predominantly Muslim. Protests are also planned in Imphal East district, and security has been increased at the residence of a local MLA. On Sunday, the house of the BJP Minority Morcha's Manipur president was set on fire for supporting the Act.
