💨 Abstract
Students of Presidency University in Kolkata have been protesting for five days, demanding immediate student union elections and a more active placement cell. Around 50 members of the Communist Party of India (Marxist)'s student wing, SFI, have staged a sit-in on the campus for over 117 hours. They claim that the lack of student union elections denies students their representatives and that the placement and internship cell is non-functional.
