Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut announced the party will contest upcoming local body elections alone, citing organizational growth concerns. Raut said the decision was made with party chief Uddhav Thackeray's indication. He criticized the Congress for not holding meetings post Lok Sabha elections, and defended the implementation of farm loan waivers and Laadki Bahin benefits.
