On November 16, a fire broke out at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a medical college in Jhansi, India, resulting in the death of 10 newborns, many of them premature. The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. The grief-stricken parents, mostly young mothers, are still searching for their children amid the tragic incident.
