💨 Abstract
A Sub-Inspector of Police in Hyderabad was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Monday for taking a bribe of Rs 22,000. The officer, attached to Shamirpet police station, had promised to exclude a complainant from a cheating case and return his cell phone in exchange for the bribe. This is not the first instance, as the officer had previously accepted Rs 2 lakh from the same complainant.
