💨 Abstract
Manmohan Singh, India's former prime minister and architect of economic reforms, passed away at the age of 92. During his tenure, he "tried very hard" to establish peace with Pakistan but was unsuccessful. He was widely respected as an intellectual economist, consensus builder, and simple man. Singh was known for his outreach to the West, particularly the United States, where he successfully negotiated the nuclear deal.
