💨 Abstract

The first International Spice Routes Conference concluded in Kochi, focusing on Kerala's historic role in the spice trade and cross-cultural exchanges. Organized by the State Tourism Department and the Muziris Heritage Project, the event aimed to leverage this legacy for intercultural relations and tourism. Key initiatives included the launch of the International Spice Routes Heritage Network and 'Spice Journeys,' offering 33 heritage trails across Kerala.
