💨 Abstract

The Tamil Nadu State Department of Archeology has released a report supporting the claim that the Iron Age in Tamil Nadu was contemporaneous with the Copper/Bronze Age of the Indus Valley Civilisation. The report, based on carbon dating of samples excavated from multiple sites, places the Iron Age in the third millennium BCE.
