💨 Abstract
Uttarakhand will have muted statehood day celebrations on November 9 due to a bus tragedy that killed 36 people. The chief minister has directed no cultural events and will focus on cleanliness drives and fruit distributions. He also asked officials to ensure bus accidents don't recur, and to purchase new vehicles if needed for hilly areas. The accident occurred due to an overcrowded bus falling into a deep gorge.
