đź’¨ Abstract
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has condemned derogatory remarks made by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sunil Raut against rival candidate Suvarna Karanje, calling them unacceptable and against the principles of equity and equality in the Constitution. The NCW has requested police action against Raut and asked for a detailed report within three working days. Mumbai police has already registered an FIR against Raut for his offensive comments.
