💨 Abstract

An eight-year-old boy in Himatnagar, Gujarat, has been reported as a suspected case of human metapneumovirus (HMPV) infection. The patient is currently on a ventilator in the ICU of a private hospital. A blood sample was sent to a government hospital for confirmation, and the results are awaited.
