A hydraulic-powered robot is being used in Nagarkurnool, Telangana, to accelerate the search operation for seven people trapped in a collapsed Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel since February 22. The robot, equipped with a liquid ring vacuum pump and a vacuum tank machine, removes soil and debris quickly. Over 620 cubic meters of soil can be removed per hour using a conveyor belt.
