💨 Abstract
The Thane city police have registered a case against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kedar Dighe, contesting against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, for alleged possession of liquor and cash. The FIR alleges Dighe and others planned to distribute money and alcohol to voters. Dighe denies the allegations and calls them politically motivated. The polling is ongoing in all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra.
