In Thane, officials, government employees, and students took an oath to increase voter turnout for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls. The initiative was led by Collector and District Election Officer Ashok Shingare. The oath urged people to vote without being influenced by factors like religion, caste, or societal pressures.
