💨 Abstract

A third-year BTech student, Mohammad Asif Qamar, was found hanging in his hostel room at IIT Kharagpur on May 4. The institute is cooperating with the police in the investigation of this tragic event. This is the fourth such incident at the institute in the past year, prompting concerns about student mental health and the need for counselling services.
