💨 Abstract

Three prison inmates in Mysuru, Karnataka have died after consuming food essence meant for a New Year's cake on December 28. The trio, who worked in the bakery department, drank the essence without telling anyone. They were initially treated at the jail hospital but were later admitted to the KR Hospital where they passed away. The incident came to light when their health deteriorated.
