In Jammu and Kashmir's Assembly elections, three women, including former minister Sakeena Masood and the BJP's Shagun Parihar, secured victories. Parihar won the Kishtwar seat by a narrow margin, while Sakeena won the D H Pora seat by a significant margin. Another National Conference candidate, Shamim Firdous, won in Habbakadal.
