A sub-adult tigress and a wild boar fell into a well in the buffer area of the Pench Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, during a chase. After a four-hour rescue operation, both animals were safely extracted using a hydraulic machine. The tigress, around three years old, will be released in the Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary. The incident occurred near Hardua village in the Khawasa buffer area.
