💨 Abstract
A stampede occurred at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, resulting in at least six deaths and numerous injuries. The incident happened during the rush for tickets for the 10-day Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam event. The TTD chairman expressed dissatisfaction with the temple staff, and the chief minister has announced ex-gratia and promised an investigation into the incident.
