Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu announced a judicial inquiry and transfers after a temple stampede in Tirupati killed six and injured dozens. He accused the YSRCP of changing temple practices and claimed insufficient precautions were taken. A DSP was suspended, and the CM promised ex-gratia for victims and better administration. He also urged against politicizing the incident.
