Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has announced a judicial inquiry and transfers of three senior officials after a stampede at Tirupati's Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple left six dead and dozens injured. He also announced ex gratia for the affected families. The incident occurred due to a new system of issuing tokens, as opposed to the earlier system in Tirumala hills.
