Congress leader Karan Singh has stated that the new government in Jammu and Kashmir will face a challenge in bridging the political divide between the two regions of the state, which has seen the National Conference performing well in Kashmir and the BJP in Jammu. He congratulated NC Vice President Omar Abdullah on his electoral success and urged for the restoration of full statehood to J-K.
