Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara announced the deployment of well-trained special forces to protect major installations in the state amid rising tensions with Pakistan. The Karnataka State Industrial Security Force is safeguarding key locations like the Raichur thermal power station, Kaiga nuclear power plant, and Krishna Raja Sagara Dam. Superintendents of Police have been alerted and instructed on precautionary measures.
