Independent Kerala MLA P V Anvar was arrested for vandalizing the District Forest Office in Malappuram, Kerala, following a protest over a tribal man's death in an elephant attack. Anvar called his arrest a case of "administrative terrorism" and accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of orchestrating the action.
