Security forces in Agartala, India arrested four Bangladeshi nationals for illegally entering the country at the railway station. Five locals were also arrested for facilitating their entry. The Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended without valid documents and sent for three days of police interrogation. A joint team of BSF and railway police conducted raids in Sonamura, arresting five human traffickers accused of helping the Bangladeshi nationals cross the border.
