💨 Abstract
In Manipur, northeastern India, 23 people were arrested for ransacking and setting fire to lawmakers' and ministers' homes, while hundreds protested against recent violence, defying a curfew. The violence has led to a tense standoff in Imphal, the state capital, and at least two women and two children have been killed in the unrest.
