đź’¨ Abstract
Two officials from a cooperative registrar's office in Thane, Maharashtra were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for accepting a bribe of Rs 60,000 to approve the formation of a cooperative housing society. The assistant registrar, Chetan Chowdhary, and junior clerk, Vijay Singh Patil, were charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The case is currently under investigation.
