Delhi CM Atishi announced that no DDA nod will be required for power connections and installing meters in the city's 1,731 unauthorized colonies. She accused the DDA of harassing residents and asserted that power discoms have been directed to provide electricity connections without a 'no objection certificate' from the DDA. The decision aims to ease the process for residents and ensure electricity connections in these colonies within 15 days.
