💨 Abstract

Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh inaugurated two key facilities in New Delhi: the National Environmental Standard Laboratory and the National Primary Standard Facility for Solar Cell Calibration. The former will test and calibrate air pollution monitoring equipment, reducing India's reliance on foreign agencies and enhancing the accuracy of environmental data. The latter positions India as a global leader in solar metrology. Both facilities aim to strengthen environmental governance and support regulatory bodies, industries, and startups in India.
