The Uttar Pradesh government has approved a new policy to establish modern parking facilities in urban areas through private participation. The policy aims to address the shortage of parking space caused by rapid urbanization and increasing vehicle numbers. Parking facilities will be developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model and equipped with electric vehicle charging stations and modern amenities.
