💨 Abstract

In Bareilly, UP, a man and his son were arrested for allegedly defacing the Indian national flag by replacing the Ashok Chakra with Arabic text. The flag was found on a rooftop, and the duo was charged under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and sent to jail. The incident came to light through a photo shared on a social media platform.
