A Shivling at the historic Billeshwar Mahadev temple in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh was vandalized, sparking outrage among locals. The perpetrator, Awadhesh Kurmi, reportedly suffering from depression, has been arrested. He admitted to destroying the Shivling out of frustration due to his wife's prolonged illness.
