In Bhadohi, UP, a carpet exporter named Anurag Baranwal and an unidentified person were booked for allegedly beating and threatening a Dalit worker, Om Prakash Gautam. The incident occurred on August 30, when Baranwal called Gautam to his office to pay an outstanding amount. After a dispute, Baranwal and another man beat and threatened Gautam.
