Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized the importance of Kannada language through 'bhakti sangeetha' in Mysuru, Karnataka. She spoke at the Mysuru Sangeetha Sugandha Festival, organized to showcase Karnataka's musical and cultural heritage. Sitharaman suggested the festival should also promote the Kannada language and urged organizers to use the platform for this purpose.
