đź’¨ Abstract
The trial of former Uvalde school district police officer Adrian Gonzales, charged with 29 counts of child endangerment for his response to the 2022 Texas elementary school shooting, was interrupted after a witness provided new testimony. Former teacher Stephanie Hale testified she saw the gunman and dust kicked up, which defense lawyers argued should have been disclosed earlier. The judge dismissed the jury until Thursday to address these issues.
