UP Governor Anandiben Patel claimed that Vedic-era sage Bharadwaj conceptualized the idea of an aircraft, but credit went to the Wright Brothers. She urged students to study ancient Indian texts to appreciate their ancestors' unparalleled research and discoveries. At a university convocation, she highlighted the priceless collection of ancient books and artwork in the Rampur Raza Library, and the need to facilitate their study and translation.
