A multi-vehicle pile-up in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan 19, resulted in the death of a truck driver, Rohit Pandey (30), due to low visibility caused by dense fog. The incident occurred around 4 am near the Kamarouli railway crossing, where a truck hit a car waiting at the crossing, causing five vehicles to collide.
