💨 Abstract
Veteran scientist Rajagopala Chidambaram, key figure in India's 1975 and 1998 nuclear tests, passed away on Saturday at the age of 88. He was chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and Principal Scientific Advisor to the Indian government, receiving the Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan in 1975 and 1999 respectively.
