Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, on a hunger strike in Delhi for Ladakh's constitutional inclusion, paid tribute to late Ratan Tata on his death. He praised Tata Sons for their social welfare work and redistribution of wealth. Wangchuk also emphasized the importance of considering a company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ranking while engaging with corporations.
